TargetColor is a class that supports generation of optical targets requiring engineered color content. It includes analysis of geometric relationships in the [R,G,B] color space, and algorithms for generating color maps that span the [R,G,B] space while maximizing color differentiation. Both 1-d and 2-d color gradients are supported. The code also includes features to adjust color sampling to account for measured color response of a specific imaging system.
Functional, and successfully used to produce many target designs for a color deflectometry study. However, still incomplete, rough, and poor interface.
